I might be far away from you, but coming from America, a good solid drive doesn't bother me! I am local to both Edinburgh and North Yorkshire (depending on the week) and am happy to strike out anywhere from there! My package prices include the cost of travel to anywhere on the mainland UK! (I have very reasonable rates for the Isles and N. Ireland as well -- no up-charging here!)

I sure do!

I have had the honor and pleasure of photographically telling the love story of over 100 couples with big traditional weddings. I work with couples that want a day that just radiates their "us" factor. That perfect day can be just two people or 300. It can be in a grand ballroom, castle, pub, on a mountaintop, in a remote wood.... whatever feels like you. I'm down! 

Scotland is my home base (scenic and naturally STUNNING) and I started into photography as a landscape photographer so I naturally gravitate toward the vast beautiful open spaces -- my portfolio reflects that because those tend to be people that resonate with me -- but I LOVE a good party too. (:

03. YOUR PORTFOLIO LOOKS REALLY ELOPE-Y... DO YOU SHOOT BIG WEDDINGS?

Call me! Email me! Text me! Facebook me! Send me a carrier pigeon! We can chat about exactly what coverage you need and tailor a package and plan to fit you and your day! Once we have figured out the deets, everything else happens online. A signed contract and a half-of-the-balance deposit reserves your date (the rest is due one month before your wedding) and then I am all yours!! 

Once your date is locked in, feel free to contact me whenever, whether you have photography or planning questions or even if you're just in meltdown mode and need someone to talk to. I am here to help you walk through this, you are. not. alone! My wedding packages include planning assistance and I am happy to help -- this can be as much or as little as you would like to utilize. I am here to help you scout locations, find vendors, give you feedback on details, plan out timelines, etc... or just to help coordinate things on the day of. Whatever you need.

04. HOW DO WE BOOK YOU?

Plenty!

Seriously though, every wedding is unique in its own way and I always make sure to capture plenty of photos for each moment of the day. For some weddings this is 50 images/hour, others it's 200 images/hour. Either way, I won't miss a beat! 

When you hire me, you don’t just hire another vendor, you gain a friend. I care very deeply for my clients. I am that friend who values you and all the important memories on your special day so it is imperative to me to deliver all the photos that will tell your story so your children and grandchildren can look back at your photos and really feel like they were there.

05. how many photos will we get?

Not just no, but hell no! Not only do I not want to edit that many photos, but you don't want to look at all them! The number of photos you receive will already feel overwhelming even without all the photos of Uncle Frank blinking, you mid-sneeze or your sister's RBF.  

06. do you deliver every image you shoot?

I am afraid not. I have seen a rise in this question recently with prospective clients. Just as you wouldn't ask a painter or a sculptor for both their finished product and the half-version, it puts photographers off to have their unfinished work floating around. The only real reason to acquire RAW images is to have the ability to re-edit them. I encourage all prospective clients to hire me only if my style of editing suits them. 

07. can we have the raw images?

My goal is to deliver your images as quickly as possible while making sure everything looks INNNCREDIBLE. 

You will have a few sneak peek photos within 48 hours of your wedding to announce your very special day!

For the rest of the photos:
The average delivery time for adventure and couples sessions is 2 weeks; for elopements and weddings, on average 6-8 weeks. Delivery time depends a lot on time of year. In off-season, turnaround time is much shorter than high-season. I always put the highest attention and care into producing high quality images for each and every one of my clients. I want to make sure EVERY SINGLE PHOTO I deliver is something I am proud of and this timeline allows for me to deliver you something worth cherishing.

09. WHAT IS YOUR TYPICAL TURN AROUND TIME?

After your wedding, you can expect to see a sneak peek within 48 hours of your wedding! I want you to be able to announce your marriage RIGHT away with a couple of (professional) photos showcasing your day (not using the half blurry cell phone pic your Aunt Gertrude snapped at the ceremony.)

The rest of the photos will come following post-processing. Your images will arrive in a high-resolution, password protected, personalized online gallery where you can view, share, download, and order your images to your hearts desire. All of my packages include a personal-use image release should you like to print them yourself. 

If you would rather have some super high quality professional prints or albums, I do offer a full line of a la carte print products that can be purchased up to a year after your session. I believe in not selling clients what they dont want or need so my packages do not include products but they can be added to your base package at booking with a 10% discount! 

10. HOW DO WE RECEIVE OUR PHOTOS?

Let me state this as clearly as I can -- ABSO-F%$&ING-LUTELY!!!!

I root my business in telling AUTHENTIC love stories. That means I *ACCEPT* AND *CELEBRATE* whoever it is that your heart has found a home in regardless of background, race, sexual orientation.... 11. DO YOU TAKE ON LGBTQIA+ WEDDINGS?

I might not be the cheapest photographer out there, but I don’t mess around when it comes to producing the highest quality work for my clients. After all, these are some of the most important memories of your life and you want to invest in someone who’s willing to pour out their heart and skills for you. My clients receive my 14 years of experience, my attention, assistance and my all!

You get a truly bespoke experience, I'm not about that cookie-cutter wedding vibe. 

12. what are your rates?

You shouldn't necessarily! I believe that chemistry is SUPER important between a wedding photographer and a couple. My energy should be reflected through you as we shoot and I should make you feel super comfortable if we dont vibe that wont happen. I really make an effort to get to know my couples and make sure they feel like friends rather than clients. I want you to know I've got your back on your wedding day. Period. And that you can trust me to help your dream day come true -- even beyond my role as a photographer. Period. If our personalities don't jive or we don't vibe, I take no offense to not being your right fit! I'll even help you find an amazing photog that DOES fit you if I don't! So let's chat!!
